Resurrection Appearances of Jesus

– Mar 16:9, Joh 20:17 To Mary, touch Me not - HE appeared first to Mary Magdalene                            -

              Luk 24:10    to several other women…                                                                                                  .

– Mat 28:10 Go tell My disciples - Mary evidently sees Jesus once again and he tells her to tell the disciples - Peter and John run to the Tomb but they see only the grave clothes….

– Luk 24:11-35  on the Road to Emmaus He appeared first to Simon and another disciple. HE talked with them at length. They invited Him in to break bread as the day was well spent. As He broke bread, they recognized Him. Immediately He was gone from their sight. They ran back to Jerusalem to tell The Disciples.

– Luk 24:36 He appeared to the disciples as they hid in the upper room. Suddenly He was in their midst. HE breathed on them and said, Receive ye The Holy Ghost. Ye forgive sins or retain them….

– 1Cor 15:5-7 He appeared to Cephas, This may refer to the Road to Emmaus - above item 3….

– Joh 20:26 then of the 12 after 8 Days again. Thomas was present this time. He handled Jesus’ body and said, ‘my Lord and my God.’

– Joh 21:22-23 at Sea of Galilee - Seven disciples were fishing, Jesus was on the shore cooking some fish. They caught 153 large fish and ate some fish with Jesus. Jesus asked Peter to feed the lambs and love Him….

       Mat 28:16-17 In Galilee on a Mountain where the 11 met Jesus and worshipped Him

– Act 1:22 taken up, seen of above 500 from the Mt. Of Olives, He rose out of sight into Heaven.

– Act 7:56 Stephen seeing Jesus standing at The Right hand of The Father. They stone him.

– Act 9:3-5 on the Road to Damascus to Paul was intending to persecute The Believers but Jesus blinded him.

– 2Cor 12:2 A man in Christ into 3rd Heaven while in the flesh Paul could not tell….

– Rev 1:17, 4:3, 5:1, 6:1, Several times John sees Jesus in His Heavenly Glory….
