9: Deals with Truth (Speaking in The Church)

1 Corinthians 13:1–2 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 14:1–2 1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Paul transitions into speaking in The Church with Chapter 13 about The LOVE from GOD. He then goes into Chapter 14 and deals with Prophecy and Speaking in Tongues - and Interpretation....

1 Corinthians 16:13–14

13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 14 Let all your things be done with charity.

Paul concludes First Corinthians with his usual exhortations to love one another.

So we can see the pattern of The 10 Commandments being used by Paul here in First Corinthians. The Law is not stressed but the concepts are clearly given. The New Covenant is thus written on The Tables of The Heart and within The Renewed Mind of each Believer....
