Ephesians reveals 6 word pictures to show how GOD has provided everything we need to grow up into the likeness and image of GOD. With JESUS as the perfect image and likeness and the pattern for The Church. In Ephesians, Paul concentrates on the activities we face in this world and shows us how to get the victory in this life. While we walk in this world, we have access to Heavenly Power and Wisdom
We are Made to be Seated in Heavenly Places:Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, :21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: :22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, :23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: :7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. :8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, :11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: :12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

We are made to sit, ordained to walk, and able to stand by GOD’s grace. A view of this growth process can be seen in these 3 verses: 2:6 And GOD has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
