Several times in Ephesians, Paul writes we are predestined.

   What does predestined mean?

GOD has predestined a plan for salvation. That plan flows throughout The Bible - from The 7 Days in Genesis One, through the Book of Revelation. Mankind is predestined with a free choice. GOD has provided the plan. The Choice is left to each one to accept or reject GOD’s gracious offer. Look at the following thoughts. GOD has provided everything we need for success - If we choose to walk according to HIS Plan.

Below are some verses that deal with Predestination and GOD’s Plan:

 Eph 1:4-5,11, 2:7, 3:10, 1Cor 1:27-29 Predestined

Rom 8:15-17,29-30, Gal 4:4-7, 2Cor 1:21-22 Adoption into GOD’s Family

Eph 1:6,12,14, Rom 9:23-24 GOD’s Grace

Eph 1:7-10, 2Pet 1:3-4 The Work of Christ

Lev 25:47-50,Mar 10:45, 1Cor 6:20, Gal 5:13  Redemption through His Blood

 Col 1:13-14 Redeemed / Forgiven

 Eph 5:25-27 Holy and Blameless

 Rev 2:4 The First Love

Rev 2:7 Eat of The Tree of Life

Some other scriptures which deal with this subject:

Body of Christ 1Cor 11:23-31, Heb 10:10, 20-22, Rom 7:4, Gal 3:13, Rom 8:1-5

GOD's Building Eph 3:4-6, Eph  4:11-13, 1Cor 12:27-31

We Are HIS Body Eph 1:22-23, 2:16,  4:4, 4:12, 5:23-32;  Rom 13:5; 1Co 12:12-27;  Col 1:18,1:24,3:15

The process of being connected with Christ and joined into His Body is the Central Theme of Ephesians. This process is part of The Predestined Plan of Salvation. The 2,000 years of Christian History shows the increase of The Body has been filled with warfare and struggle. Just as it is with each child as they grow to maturity and then into old age, there is a process. GOD has given us His Holy Spirit to draw us to His Son. HE has provided The Old and New Testaments to instruct us, and He has established The Body of Believers to help each Christian grow and minister to one another....

This process can be seen throughout Ephesians and Paul’s central Theme in Ephesians is based on The Body.
