  Chapter 11

VII   – Commandment: 7 No Adultery

  7- Faithfulness is The ONLY Way, it is NOT an adulterous way.

- Purpose: To connect us to GOD - though HE is unseen, we can hear and do as HE leads and directs by Faith. To help us know Thy Word is Truth. John 17:17....

 – Why is FAITH so Important? We must Believe GOD exists - though Not Seen, HE has created all things. HE has used people to show HIS Love and Care through thousands of years. HE rewards those who are diligent.

11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

11:6 But without FAITH it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

  Hebrews Chapter 11 Deals with Faith:

1 Faith is Connected with Hope and the Evidence of GOD

3 Creation and Ages were Formed by The WORD

       (The WORD became Flesh - GOD's Visible Likeness)

4 Abel's Faith offered The Lamb as a Sacrifice

5 Enoch pleased GOD by Faith and was Taken Up

6 We Must Believe GOD Is & HE Rewards Diligence

7 Noah built an Ark by Faith to Save his Family

8 Abraham was a friend of GOD waiting for a Family

 We can see ‘The Unseen’ (GOD) in these examples

3. Hope - in GOD's Creation – though The WORD Came 4,000 years later and The Word of Faith comes in us–  bringing us into The Finished Work after another 2,000 years.

4. The Hope of The Finished Sacrifice in JESUS.

5. Enoch walked with GOD and he was Taken Up.

6. GOD rewards belief when we seem Him diligently.

7. The Ark took 120 years to build. GOD furnished the water.

8. Abraham left idols and Babylon behind, to follow GOD.

Chapter 11 shows us The Ones Who are written down as Faithful. They were not perfect but Mature enough to do the work set before them with  GOD’s Help. GOD is The Unseen One and HE Formed Everything Around Us. HE is Transforming us into HIS Will and Likeness. HE has sent JESUS and The Saints ahead to show us the possibilities.   WITH  FAITH it  IS  Possible to Please HIM... HE Rewards those who believe and seek HIM Diligently.
