  In John Chapter 2, Jesus attends a Wedding. They run out of wine and Mary asks Jesus to provide wine for the wedding. This is typical of The Need and The Solution being met in Jesus - but we might overlook the conflict. Jesus is not happy with His Mother’s request nor does He reveal where The Wine came from to The Master of The Feast. HIS time had not come to provide wine for The Wedding Feast - that will come in Revelation Chapter 20....

 (Note: John skips a big controversy which Mat 12 and Luk 6 deal with - Regarding The Picking of Barley grain at the time of First Fruits. It would seem John’s Supply-Conflict-Provision Theme would fit right in, but John mysteriously skips this event.)

  John also is the only Gospel which deals with The Feast of Tabernacles in John 7:2 through John 10:21 where Jesus is ministering during and just after The Feast of Tabernacles. John 1:14 states Jesus was The Word of GOD and HE Tabernacled (dwelt) in The Body of a Man. In John 5:1 “there was a Feast of The Jews” is considered to be The Feast of Tabernacles.... The whole of John’s Gospel can be seen as a commentary in GOD’s desire to Fellowship (Tabernacle) with Man.…

 This is typical of John’s Gospel - Where Jesus Reveals GOD’s Solution to Man’s Need and Conflict stands in the way. We see the same Conflict during Paul’s ministry as shown in 2Corinthians for example. The Christian life has Peace with GOD but persecution in the world. We are encouraged to take up our dead body and follow Jesus....
