 The LORD’s Prayer is designed in the same pattern as The 10 Commandments.

This prayer is so simple and easy to recite that even the youngest, can remember it and pray.

Yet it covers all the basic needs mankind deals with -  

The 10 Commandments were God’s provision to do the same thing -

Under the law, The 10 Commandments were a simple outline of how to live a good life. When The Lord brought The Children of Israel out of Egypt, HE wanted to be like a Husband to them. HIS proposal was based on The 10 Commandments…. HE gave them The Law to help them live Godly lives.

Jesus’ Disciples asked Jesus, How to pray? Or how do we talk with God? He taught them this simple prayer formula. In it we can see God’s heart. HE wants to have a relationship with us…. We are His Children and He is Our Father….
