James 5:7–9

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Commandment 9.  5:10 Speak Truth in The LORD

James 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

James 5 Gives us 3 Ways to Pray for Healing

1. 5:13 - Let The Believer Pray for Himself

2. 5:14 - Call for Elders, The Prayer of Faith Will Save The Sick, The LORD will     Raise Him            15 - If they have Committed any Sin it Shall Be Forgiven

3. 5:16 - Confess Faults and Pray for One Another The Effectual Prayer of a         Righteous Person has Great Power

Commandment 10. 5:20  Covet saving souls

James 5:19–20

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

The desire within each Christian should be to Save Souls. Not to covet the things of this Earth.

Thus James gives The Church this great gift. In a five chapters he includes The 10 Commandments and The Practical advice that comes from GOD.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding.
