Jesus often foretells of His Sacrificial Death but even His Disciples do not understand until after His Resurrection and His appearances to them while in His New Body. Of the resurrection appearances only John, gives us certain very important details:
John 20:17 Jesus tells Mary‘do not hold Me now, for I have not yet ascended to My Father, and My GOD.’ (Mary was the first to see Jesus after His resurrection)
Joh 20:22 When Jesus first appeared to His Disciples, He ‘breathed on them and said, Receive ye The Holy Ghost. Whose sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them, and whose sins ye retain, they shall be retained.”
John 20:26 After eight days (8 days after His Passover Sacrifice, on The Last Day of Unleavened Bread) Jesus appeared to His Disciples again. HE offered Thomas to touch His Body -
