John 14 to 16   ASK What Ye Will    what does this mean?

Joh 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Mat 21: 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

(Mar 11:24 also)

Jam 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Rom 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Mansions in John 14

John 14:2–3 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

We may think what Jesus said is a future abode in Heaven. But a review of the context in Chapter 14 shows differently. (Even in verses 2 and 3 Jesus states ‘where I AM, ye may be also and that there ARE many dwelling in GOD.)

In Chapters 14 thru 17, Jesus is telling us about The Holy Spirit, and that HE and The father dwell in us...14:20, 17:11. (See the 21 Aspects of The Holy Spirit)

The Holy Spirit dwells in believers, and we ARE The Temple and Dwelling Place of GOD. Joh 20:22, Acts 2:33,38, 1Cor 6:19, Eph 3:21, etc.
