Acts 19 Paul ministers at Ephesus for over Two Years:
2-4 Here 12 Jewish Families were baptized under John's ministry for Repentance
and to expect the Coming of The Messiah.
5 When they heard Paul, they were baptized in The Name of The Lord Jesus.
6-7 Paul laid hands on them and they received The Holy Ghost and spoke
in tongues and prophesied.
Paul Teaches
8 Paul taught them for 3 months in the Synagogue concerning The Kingdom of God.
9 But when some were hardened, he departed and spoke in The School of Tyrannus. (a Greek Philosopher)
10 Paul continued for about 2 Years, so all in Asia heard The Word of The Lord Jesus - Both Jews and Greeks.
Special Miracles
11-12 God worked special Miracles by Paul's hands, using aprons or handkerchiefs to deliver from diseases, and evil spirits went out of them.
13-18 Seven sons of Sceva, a chief priest, tried to cast out an evil spirit, but it answered them rudely and tore them naked and wounded. So fear fell on them all and The Name of The Lord Jesus was magnified.
Repentance
19-20 Many burned books they had used in curious arts. So mightily grew The Word of God.
21-22 Paul proposed to go even to Jerusalem.
Rioting and Confusion
23-26 Demetrius a silversmith, who made silver shrines for Diana complained with other such workmen about losing their craft and wealth even all through Asia.
27-28 So that the great goddess Diana should be despised. So the whole city was confused.
29-41 After much confusion and rioting, the town clerk advised Demetrius to bring the matter into court. The assembly was thus dismissed.
20:1-2 Paul called the disciples together and departed to Macedonia....
