  2 Corinthians Theme –  The Church and our Future:

 Paul wrote 2 Corinthians to Comfort The Church during Troubles. First Corinthians was written to reveal GOD’s Salvation Plan to The Church, and Paul included a summary of all 7 Holy Convocations. Later he wrote Second Corinthians to The Church to Comfort and to Build them Up to Maturity. The Holy Convocations Paul refers to, center on The Fall Feast and Set Times.

 Paul Contrasts This Earthly System and The New Life God has given to those who believe in Jesus Christ. In doing this, we can better understand the differences between the work and the rest Christians are involved with in this life. And we can better see the direction and leading of The Spirit of God as contrasted with the spirit of this world.

 The Day of Trumpets deals with the Calling and Activity of The Church

  GOD is our Comforter 1:3-6, 2:7

  Ministry 3:6+ New Covenant Ministry, 10:1 bold in The Spirit,

  Preaching Christ Jesus 4:5+

  New Man 3:6-18

  Yoked Together 6:14-18      

  Apostleship 11:5+, 12:11+

  Farewell Blessings 13:11+

 The Day of Atonement deals with Correction and Building Up to Maturity

  Growing to Maturity 1:17-22, 11:7+ 13:1+

  Forgiveness 2:1-11

   Judgment Seat of Christ 5:9-14

  Be Holy 7:1-7, Cleanse Yourselves 7:1+

  Repentance and sorrow 7:8-11

  As a Chaste Virgin 11:1+

     In 2 Corinthians, we can see the great contrast between the World and The Church…. Paul lists several contrasts and his three or four lists of persecutions as he proclaimed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.      As we grow in The Faith and Power of The Holy Spirit and Authority of The name of Jesus, we are given several tools to combat and defeat the various enemies we face. One such tool is shown in 2Cor 10:4-7.
