2 Basic Theological Themes in Paul’s Writings
1- Monotheism is now found in One GOD - Father, Son & Holy Spirit
2- Election is now found through Faith in Jesus Christ - from The Holy Spirit
The Torah (the law) served to concentrate the Sin of Adam - in Israel which was then heaped on Jesus as HE became The Sacrifice for Sin and Bore The Curse of The Law.
Phiippians 2:5-11 Where JESUS lowered Himself into flesh and took upon Himself the Death of The Tree (Cross).
Colossians 1:15-20 Reveals Christ Jesus as Creator and Redeemer.
1Cor 8 Deals with Christians buying meat in the open market, which may have been sacrificed to idols. Don't appear to sin and don't offend your brother.
Gal 3:10-14 The Curse of The Torah fell onto Jesus and His resurrection justifies believers. The Promise to Abraham then was made available to all believers. Thus the Promise to Abraham is proven to many nations. Faith to Abraham is now Faith to All Nations of Believers. Moses did not mediate for all nations being One but GOD has.
2Cor 3 Paul is bold to be an Apostle to Gentiles. As Moses saw GOD face to face -. Israel required a veil which still remains in The law because of their unbelief. The Christ shines via The Spirit in Believers which are mirrors of God's Grace in them.
Rom 8:1-11 is dealt with very extensively. The Sum is The Old Man is dead to The Law and to sin thus we are free from The Law's Limitations - yet not unto sin but unto Liberty.
Outline of Rom 7:1 thru 8:11 is given to reveal Paul's concepts.
Romans 9 thru 11 is discussed; GOD is Just and Righteous in dealing with Israel. All Israel is not in Faith so all children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not Truly Israel.
