                       The Book of Revelation uses The Same Pattern

 If we look at The Book of Revelation we can see another N T example of The Feast of Trumpets. In Rev 10:7 The 7th Trump is about to sound. The 7th Trumpet sounds on The First Day of The 7th Month (at the New Moon.) This Trump announces The Day of Trumpets as The Fall Feasts are about to begin Lev 23:24. In Revelation 10 The 7th Trump begins to sound as ‘The Little Book is about to be opened’ Rev 10:8. And The ‘Mystery of GOD should be declared’ 10:7.

 If we look at Christian History, The 7th Trump begins to sound as The Reformation begins. The Little Book of Rev 10:9 is The Printed Bible - Printing allows The Bible to be held and read by common people. Several translations are soon distributed throughout Europe - though great persecution develops as shown in Rev 10:9-11. (In Neh 8, the same pattern occurs.)

 In Ephesians 2:21, The Body is typical of The Temple of GOD, and The Temple is the focus of Rev 11. The 2 Witnesses would represent The Old and New Testaments (or two people or Jew and Gentile as representing them.)

 The Book of Revelation continues to show greater detail about The 7th Month Feasts, and Chapters 12 thru 20 list the results. Ephesians follows this same pattern with 3:9 thru the end of Ephesians showing the details of The Seventh Month Feasts....

First Day - Trumpets 3:9– 5:21

10th Day - Atonement 5:22- 6:9

15th Day - The 7 Day Feast of Tabernacles Begins 6:10– 6:24

 In The Book of Ephesians, Paul uses the word ‘Mystery’ to alert the reader to the Feast Days and GOD’s Plan.

 John uses The Word ‘Mystery’ in Revelation 10:7 and relates it to ‘The 7th Angel Sounding The 7th Trump.’ These two books give us two reports of this ‘Mystery’ and help us understand GOD’s Plan for The Salvation of mankind. Paul writes this is Predestined and he uses the word ‘Mystery’ 6 times to indicate the 6 days of work in which GOD will deal with the Salvation Plan. This work is similar to the 6 days of Creation and many other activities where GOD both works and rests as The Process of Salvation continues....

 The process and plan may seem frustrating at times, because our lives pass far too quickly. The 2000 year delay until Abraham was chosen, The 4000 year delay until Jesus came to live and die, and the 2000 year delay until the Fall Feasts begin seem like GOD is not intimately involved at times. Then the 1000 year millennium and a final rebellion seem out of place but GOD is training, and maturing each one of His called and chosen children....

 We can see the same pattern in The Old and in The New Covenant. Some things change some things stay the same –  ‘Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and for ever’ Heb 13:8.

 Thus we have Nehemaih 8, all of Ephesians, and Revelation 11 thru 20 showing the same pattern, with each Book giving us some important details about how Trumpets represents The Calling and Ministry of The Body of Christ....
