       Romans 5   God’s Wonderful Salvation Offer

  Salvation Presented in Romans 5        

  5:1 Justified by Faith

  5:2 Access to HIS Glory

  5:3-5 Endurance in Hope

  5:6-8 Christ Died for Us

  5:9-12 Sin had Dominion

  5:13-14 Law of Sin and Death

  5:15 God's Gift Turns Us To Him

  5:16 Man sinned God’s Gift

  5:20 The Law made sin abound

 5:3-5  We have Peace with God :

       We have afflictions, and we have patience

       We have hope, and we endure

 5:9 Now Justified by His Blood, we are

        Saved from Wrath through Him.

 5:12-17 Once dead in sin,  --Through The Law,

       We are brought near   -- Through His Grace

Romans 6 The Problem of Sin and Death

  We are sinners though in Grace 6:1

  We are buried in Baptism 6:2-5

  We are raised up in Jesus Christ 6:5-11

 We are servants to whom we yield 6:13-14

       No longer yielding to sin 6:14

       Now yielding to grace   6:14

  Not under The Law of sin and death 6:14-17

      But servants of Righteousness 6:18

  Free from sin, With Fruit unto Holiness

      and Everlasting Life 6:22

In Romans 6:

  "the sinful body might be destroyed" (v.6)

  "let not sin therefore reign in your mortal bodies" (v.12)

  yield your members to God as instruments of righteousness (v.13)

  “The Wages of Sin is Death” (v.23)

In Romans 7:

   "I see in my members another law" (v.23)

   "making me captive to the law of sin which dwells in my      members" (v.23)

   Thank God, Jesus will deliver me from this body of death (v.24)

In Romans 8:

   "our bodies are dead because of sin" (v.10)

   God will give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit in            you (v.11)

   by the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body (v.13)

   The Spirit redeems our bodies (v.23)

Our Fleshly Body is a Big Problem
