In every case where Communion is observed, it always involves unleavened bread in the context.- In the Gospels, it is the season for unleavening

At the start of John 6, the bread is barley loaves, which cannot be puffed up by leavening.

In 1 Corinthians Paul writes 6 times about not being 'Puffed Up' and in chapter 5 he writes we should keep the feast with unleavened bread. So Paul writes about the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread in the first 13 chapters of 1 Corinthians.
