In the book of Judges, there are 7 dramatic Judges but there are 14 mentioned in Judges:
There is a general flow downward but the flow of deliverance for Israel, often goes back and forth from just to unjust and rest to unrest. That is the real issue of The OT. Why do men choose no god rather than The True and Living ONE? And then cry out when tribulation and curses result… The true wonder of it all, is that God constantly gives grace and mercy when the people repent.
Deborah and Barak are the 5th, Judge and Ruler listed in Judges. See my Diagram....
Samson is the final Judge in Judges, but Samuel and others are raised up as Prophetic Judges....
Samson is typical of Israel as he fails even amidst The Promise and Power of God.... He is set apart and raised as a Nazarite. He is to let his hair grow, drink no wine and eat selected foods.... Yet Samson fails with his hair, defiled with women and plays amidst his enemies while at war with them....
The final story in Judges deals with Micah’s concubine being raped to death in Benjamin-
First 3 Festivals -
In the NT, we see Jesus comes to give redemption and recovery to each person who comes to Him.. Then The Holy Spirit is given to each who seek filling from God. 1 Corinthians deals with Passover and Unleavened Bread for the first 11 Chapters. Then the remaining Festivals are discussed -
NOW:
The 3 Fall Festivals reveal another dramatic increase in Power and Presence -
We see the trembling even now as Mystery Babylon is being exposed for what it is. The Message must be Trumpeted and made clear in God’s righteous Love, Power and Spirit....
Finally:
The Last Great and Terrible Day is revealed in Rev 21:8 -
The controversy lies in the confusion of it all. That man seems not to be involved in Heaven until Jesus invites us in Hebrews and Heaven is opened in Ephesians by the 6 Mystery Pictures shown by Paul… Yet Enoch walked with God and was taken to live with God before The Flood.
We are invited to pray to God and we have The Holy Spirit, but we are only later on invited into Heaven to sit with God at His table and throne.... as we read in Hebrews and in 1 John. see also Ephesians etc
In Rev. 20 we are seated in 2 and 3 we are promised to come and in 4-
Jesus the same yesterday and today.... HE was before Abram.... HE is the days-
