Part of the Restoration Plan includes victory over self, sin, and Satan the devil.... So that God’s wisdom is made known to all those in high (heavenly) places. (For there is no authority nor ruler who is not subject to God and to Christ Jesus.)

We can see in Genesis, James and in Job, how Satan is allowed to have access in Heaven and on Earth. BUT he has very limited authority. His main desire is to disrupt man’s authority on Earth.

The authority God gave to Adam still continues today. Of course God still has the higher Authority in Heaven and on Earth.

In Genesis 3, Eve and Adam thought to get authority to deal with sin like God has in Heaven and in Earth. Thus becoming free from the limits God had placed upon them.  (Evidently this would make them priests as well as the princes who they were.)

We see how God divided authority in three parts within The Law:

a.–  Kings - from Judah - made wise (as in Gen 3)

b.– Priests - from Levi - delight to see (like God sees)

c.– Natural Blessings - in Joseph - fruitful and good for food

This is a similar division we have in Government in The USA.

And this is the same division we see in The Church: Jesus alone is King, God has made every Believer a kingdom of Priests (servants,) with certain giftings provided to each Believer to bless the Body. God intends everyone to work and to rest as HE directs.

HE intends Believers to work as God directs: To occupy and have dominion over all The Earth. This dominion can only be enabled by Submission of The Old Nature (flesh) unto The Holy Spirit of God The Father. God has given those who have specific responsibilities in The Church Body. Each responsibility also has the appropriate authority given to do the work of the ministry - to build up every member of the body to full maturity.
