The sons of GOD as seen in The NT are Believers. This may have been true in Job as well, spirits of people like Enoch, Noah, Abraham, etc. They may have been included in The Council in Heaven....

The Sons of God are like Enoch, who walked with God. It was possible to walk with God back then, and Job had to learn the same thing. Why did God wait so long or why did Job not listen earlier....????  Job seems to have been satisfied with an works relationship with God. But Job did not listen to God in all of his religious activities, until Elihu finally spoke up with good advice and then God spoke directly with Job.

In Job 38:7 , when did the Sons of God shout for joy?

This is a point of confusion for some.... The context is creation, but who are these Sons and when did God hear them?  If we take the time of Job as the context, the council in Job may have included Abraham and Enoch as they were discussing Creation and why Adam fell and why the Flood was required, etc....

Job was confused. He did not see GOD until the very end of his suffering. He had only a religious relationship. Much like so many he took council from friends rather than GOD. Job was a wonderful man but he needed a closer walk with GOD. He knew about who God was but did not listen to Him until the end of his trials with Satan, sickness and discussions.

Abram was very similar in many ways but He had a listening relationship with God that is what FAITH is.

Job finally got the message and it is written for us to  see–  God wants us to listen and hear His Voice (The Holy Spirit.)

Job was written before The Law was written by GOD and given to Moses. We see Job believes as did Noah that GOD deserves sacrifices and worship....

GOD is just and right as Romans shows. Job proves the same facts we see in the NT. Religion, blessings and friends are no substitute for a Living Relationship with GOD. This is what The Life of Jesus proved. Jesus was obedient even to The Law of Moses as GOD had given it. But religion and friends were in conflict with Jesus especially in John, where Jesus was the Eternal Word, Who walked with man in The OT.

God has fellowship and discussion with those who are in relationship with Him.... !!!  HE alone has all power but HE delegates authority to other agents like HE did with Satan.... This is the same as we see in Ephesians where Believers are seated in Heavenly Places to have dominion over those who have limited authority as rulers on Earth.  GOD rules over all and HE only has Power and Highest authority....

Satan is involved in Isa 14 and Eze 28. BUT the main trouble lies with leaders on Earth as Nebuchadnezzar in Isa 14, and King of Tyre in Eze 28 are mentioned.  Kings are shown to have dominions like Adam had in Eden.... They are tempted to give Satan some part in their rule.... but God is above all and only gives limited authority to man and soon allows curses to overtake those who do not serve Him.

The king of Tyre was a Phoenician King on an Island who thought his kingdom was secure until a causeway was laid out to the island and his kingdom was destroyed.  We can see Satan work in the pride of this king as he does so often work in man with lust and pride even as Satan thought to defeat Jesus....

So Satan and kings work to destroy others to keep their control over others....

Why does GOD set up kings and remove them?  We can see some of this in Daniel....
