1. hearing and believing through the life of The Holy Spirit. 2. We are sealed by The Holy Spirit. 3. The gifts of The Holy Spirit are an earnest payment in our inheritance.
Man cannot see nor imagine the wonderful Plan God has designed. His grace brings us humbly into His presence and enables us to express our Praise and Worship.
B. Paul’s Prayer: Eph 1:15-
1. For Light 2. To know the Hope of his calling 3. To know the ‘exceeding greatness and Power towards each believer.’
– The Work of God’s Plan -
a. What we were by nature
1. Dead in trespasses and sins
2. By wickedness, we were enemies of God and the prince of the air (Satan) ruled us through sin.
3. The devil is our enemy
b. God Who is rich in mercy 2:4-
c. God’s Eternal Plan in our redemption
1. ‘That in the ages to come, He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness to us in Christ.’
2. God will continually bring forth new things in His glory to those in Christ.
3. Looking to our Heavenly Glory, we can overlook any present trial, suffering or persecution.
2. The Church is The Temple of GOD
A. The Mystery of Christ is Made Known To Us -
– This Mystery is made Known in Eph 2:11
B. The Past and Present Conditions Without Christ 2:11-
The Gentiles were without Christ, and aliens from the Israel, we were strangers from the covenants, without hope and without God.
Now the Gentiles are made nigh by The Blood of Christ. God has made this known which was planned before the foundation of the world.
Through the blood of Christ, there are three things He does:
1. HE is our peace and He has made Jew and Gentile One
2. HE has broken down the middle wall of partition and abolished nationalities
3. HE makes in Himself – One New Man. Taking believers from every nation, He has made us one in Christ. HE is building His Church by The Holy Spirit. We are living stones with Christ The Chief Corner Stone.
