In Galatians, Paul says nothing good about Law except in 2 instances: 1.As a schoolmaster to lead Jews to Chris 2. As The Law of The Christ - To LOVE your neighbor..
5:1 Stand fast in the Liberty - circumcision leads to being a debtor
:4 Christ is no effect if you are justified by law, you are fallen from grace :5 we wait for The Hope of righteousness by Faith
5:9 A little Leaven leavens the whole lump
5:13-15 Love your neighbor as yourself 5:16- Walk in The Spirit :17 the flesh lusts against the Spirit
:18 you are led by The Spirit are not under the law :19-21 Works of The Flesh
5:22-26 The Fruit of The Spirit
6:1-2 If one be overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore, :2 bare one another’s weakness (faults) :5 bare your own weight (burdens)
6:7-8 What a man sows he reaps - either of the flesh or of the Spirit
:9 be not weary in well doing ye shall reap is ye faint not :10 do good to all especially to the Household of Faith
6:12-15 Circumcision is nothing in Christ :16 Peace be on The Israel of God :18 Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit
Freedom becomes a reality in The Spirit - God first pored his Spirit into Believers at Jerusalem on Pentecost, Yet we continue to see some who have NOT Overcome in every Church, and all are encouraged to do so.... Galatians is only a sample of the problems as we see in Paul's other letters and in Rev 2 & 3...!!!
Freedom in Christ:
2:4-5 Jewish spies crept in to search out our Liberty in Christ Jesus.
2:11-14 Peter and Paul ate with you, though you were uncircumcised Gentiles
3:1-7 You received The Spirit doing miracles.... You in Faith are the children of Abraham.
3:14 The blessings of Abraham might come on the Gentiles by Jesus Christ....
3:23-29 Justified by faith you are the Children of God by Faith in Jesus Christ. All are included: Bond and Free, Male and Female, Jew and Greek.
4:1-11 The Law which led us to Christ. God sent forth His Spirit of His Son into your hearts crying Abba Father.
5:1-13 Stand fast in the Liberty where Christ has made us free
Paul reaches back to Abraham and ahead by The Spirit to include all Who are filled are now the Sons of God...!!! We are Sons by reckoning and promise as it is possible even as Enoch walked with God - yet the time for all The Church to come to maturity seems just ahead. Each one can press toward the mark of the High Calling.... Creation is still waiting for the fullness to come. The Sons of God fully manifested in Christ.
