The 10 Commandments are repeated in Mark

Mark is the Shortest Gospel and it is packed with action. Mark wrote from the words he heard from Peter as Peter was held captive in Rome. The Roman audience enjoyed fast action so

Mark used time related connective words like:Immediately 1:12, 28, 31, 422:8, 12,  4:5, 15,16,17, 295:2, 30, 6:27, 50, 10:52, 14:43

straightway (same Greek word as Immediately)1:18, 20, 21, 29, 30, 43, 2:2, 3:6, 5:14, 29, 36, 426:25, 45, 54, 7:35, 8:10, 9:15, 20, 24, 11:314:45, 15:1, Then 2:20, 3:27, 31, 4:13, 287:1, 5, 10:8, 21, 26, 28, 11:3112:18, 13:14, 21, 26, 2714:63, 15:12, 14, 16:19

By tradition, the creature that represents the Gospel of Mark is the calf or the oxen—a creature of work and service. The Gospel of Mark shows Jesus as the Servant of God.The Servant does what is asked of him.
