Blood not Taken into Heaven
Read the Web pages on Hebrews 9, John 6, and The Basic Doctrine Pages> Jesus >Blood.
I read no Bible Text which states Jesus' blood was taken into Heaven. HIS blood was poured out once and for all time just after His death, as His side was pierced. His feet and hands were nailed and they washed His body before He was buried. All sin was paid for as Jesus died.
The Blood is given to support the Soul-
1 Corinthians 15.
Hebrews ch. 9 and 10 have several references to the blood of Jesus but none of these state His blood was taken into Heaven. No sin exists there so there is no need for blood in Heaven. Jesus shed His blood as He became our Passover Sacrifice. His death also provides for the Day of Atonement sacrifices as we read in Hebrews 9 and 10.
At The Communion Service, we are told to take bread and the cup in remembrance of Jesus death.
Jesus said in Mat 26:28-
We partake by faith just as Jesus told His disciples. We repeat the command He gave as we take The Fruit of The Vine and of The Bread which represents His body.
We are His body, His blood cleanses and covers us as we celebrate The New Covenant in Christ Jesus.
