We can be sure The Armor God provides for His Soldiers, is the very best equipment available. Regardless of cost, He has provided the very best to protect His beloved sons.
We are guarded from this evil world, by having our feet shod with Peace. No warfare can damage our walk, and The God of Peace has crushed Satan under our feet by Jesus' sacrifice for us.
Our Breastplate is Righteousness, which protects our heart and inner nature. This righteousness is provided by Jesus Christ and the perfect presence of The Holy Spirit within. We love God and keep His commandments. We do what is right as we are led by our inner nature.
Our vital innards are surrounded with The Truth. Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life. His Word is Truth. We can trust what He says. We must Meditate on His Word.
We take The Shield of Faith, which comes from the perfect faithfulness of Jesus. God also gives us instructions by faith, so we know how to cast down every evil dart the wicked one might send against us. We can hide under His shadow for He is The Most High.
Our head is protected by The Salvation Jesus has purchased for us. We take every thought captive unto Christ in His perfect strength of character. We let Christ judge and deal with our conscience so we have no doubts nor condemnation regarding our salvation. We come boldly to the throne of grace to find help. Any evil thought is known by Christ in us. Our own thinking must be captured and cleansed as well as any ideas that come from the devil. Christ knows exactly how to deal with temptations and He has all power -
Finally we take up the sword of The Spirit, which is The Word of God. The Spirit knows exactly how to deal with our enemies. Our flesh, the world and the devil are defeated when The Spirit takes The Word of God and skillfully makes giants into food for us. We take note that Jesus slays every enemy that comes against Him and His Bride, by The Sword of His Mouth. He is The Word of God.
