In 1 Corinthians, Paul writes about 'Mysteries' 5 times.

He uses this word to reveal important concepts which were a shadow or type in The Old Testament.

(Paul uses this word in a similar way as he does also in Ephesians.)

In 1 Corinthians, Paul brings attention to the 3 High Annual Feast Sabbaths by using this word.

2:7 relates to Passover and the Sacrifice of Christ Jesus.

13:2 and 14:2 relate to Pentecost and the activities of The Holy Spirit.

14:51 relates to The Fall Feast of Tabernacles and The Resurrection.

4:1 introduces Paul's theme of 'Puffed Up' or Unleavened Bread. Which starts in 4:6 and continues through chapter 13. 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

13:2  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing.

14:2  For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
